The Online Campaign Management School will quickly teach you the tools you need to make a winning plan for your campaigns.
Ideal attendees are volunteers, current and potential precinct chairs, elected officials, current or future candidates for political office, campaign operatives, and party officials.

This past spring and summer, the Leadership Institute hosted a series of campaign academies across the state of Texas. This Online Campaign Management School uses recordings from a live training in Dallas, Texas.
Born in South Carolina, Chris Godbey has worked on all levels of campaigns in the both nationally and internationally, with campaigns and with independent expenditure groups.
From 2016-2017, Chris worked with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy as the Regional Officer in the Caribbean for the Conservative Party of the United Kingdom, rebuilding of the Caribbean Democrat Union, a regional affiliate of the International Democrat Union. Focused on developing accountability, transparency, and good governance practices through training of political leaders and relationships built through senior party members and elected officials.
Recently, Godbey ran a digital consulting firm out of Washington, DC, surgeRED, developing tactical advantages for political and corporate campaigns, especially using Social Media Optimization, database management, and VoIP technology to provide low cost efficient contact with voters from the campaign.
Chris is the Senior Grassroots Coordinator for the Leadership Institute, where he has trained over 600 conservative activists in 2018. Chris has been working as an adjunct faculty for the Leadership Institute since 2012.
Chris Godbey graduated from Clemson University with degrees in Political Science and Economics and completed American University’s Campaign Manager Grad program. Chris resides in Springfield, Virginia.
Travis Korson is a veteran of politics with years of experience in campaigns, communications and public policy. He is currently the Senior Vice President at Madison Strategies, a full-service public affairs, public relations, and political consulting firm. Travis also serves as the Director of Public Policy at Frontiers of Freedom.
Travis has also served in the Bush White House and has spent time at various public policy organizationsand government institutions including the Heritage Foundation, Americans for Prosperity and the Rhode Island General Assembly.
Travis has spoken at several conferences, including the Conservative Political Action Conference, the Road to Majority Conference, Freedom Fest and the State Policy Network annual gathering. His expertise has been quoted in a number of leading publications including the New York Times and Politico and he has appeared on Fox News, One America News Network and Newsmax TV. Donna Davidson, an elections lawyer, lays down the law for campaign expenditures and reporting. This section is heavy on Texas-specific campaign finance information.
Donna Davidson knows her way through the election process and around the halls of the state capitol. She is known for her expertise in ethics, election law, public information issues and governmental affairs.
Donna has been active in campaigns and public service. She was the General Counsel to the Republican Party of Texas and was an alternate delegate to the 2008 national convention. She has attended many state and district conventions since 1982 and chaired several major convention committees.
Donna was the ethics advisor to Governor George W. Bush and assistant general counsel to Al Gonzales in that office. She was the general counsel to Lieutenant Governor Rick Perry and an assistant general counsel for the Texas Department of Agriculture under Commissioner Rick Perry. Donna was a legislative staffer for several members of the Texas House of Representatives.
Donna currently advises clients on campaign, ethics, open meetings and public information issues. Her client list includes many present and former members of the Texas legislature and other elected officials.
Donna serves as a board member for the Texas Election and Campaign Law Institute (TECLI), a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization established to promote education on election law and related ethics issues for candidates, officeholders, and other interested individuals. TECLI's mission is to educate those involved in the election process provides the necessary tools to highlight relevant campaign issues. By being up-to-date on election law and related ethics issues, a campaign or service will not be damaged or questioned due to non- compliance with election or ethics laws.
Donna is active in the community. She has worked with the Faith Food Pantry, the Foundation for the Homeless, the National Day of Prayer and Prison Fellowship. She is a member of CrossPointe Presbyterian Church in Austin.
Donna has been married to Greg Davidson for 27 years. Greg is a former member of the State Republican Executive Committee and served as a presidential elector from Texas in the 1996 election.
Greg is also an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church of America and currently works for an elected public official in the executive branch of government.
Donna and Greg have one daughter and a bloodhound named Blue. They reside near Austin in Blue, Texas.
